Bright Mind is an award-winning non-profit organization recognized for our innovative initiatives, such as Wellness Week and ‘Street Care’. Our outreach has reached up to 60 million people, and we have been featured on CBS, Politico, ABC, and Newsweek. We are now looking to expand our impact globally, with plans to launch our programs in India, bringing our community-centered approach to new regions in need. You will work closely with our International Team, contributing to meaningful projects that drive real-world change. Position Summary:

The Volunteer Coordinator will play a central role in recruiting, onboarding, and supporting volunteers across various projects in India. This role focuses on building strong communication channels, ensuring volunteer satisfaction, and aligning volunteers with initiatives that match their strengths. By facilitating meaningful engagement, the Coordinator helps drive the success and sustainability of Bright Mind’s efforts.

Position Title: Logistics Coordinator (India)

Position Type:  Volunteer (Unpaid)

Time Commitment:  Minimum 15 hours per week

Location: Open (Anywhere in India)

Eligibility: Undergraduate students and above

Key Responsibilities:

• – Design and execute volunteer recruitment and onboarding strategies.
• – Match volunteers to suitable roles based on their interests, skills, and availability.
• – Maintain clear and consistent communication with volunteers throughout their engagement.
• – Monitor and evaluate volunteer participation and feedback to improve engagement.
• – Collaborate with lead volunteers to identify volunteer needs and ensure appropriate placement.
• – Assist in organizing volunteer training sessions and appreciation events.
• – Maintain volunteer records and reporting tools to track hours, roles, and contributions.
  Coordinate volunteer outreach campaigns via email and social media platforms.

   

Skills:

• – Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• – Strong coordination and team-building abilities.
• – Experience with volunteer engagement or event coordination is a plus.
  – Familiarity with digital collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Zoom).
• – Ability to foster inclusive and positive volunteer environments.
