Our Team
Eunsol Moon
Rhode Island Team Vice President
My name is Eunsol Moon, and I am currently completing my Master’s in Medical Science at Brown University. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
I am passionate about healthcare equity and interdisciplinary approaches to medicine, with interests in patient advocacy, community outreach, and clinical research. Through my academic, clinical, and volunteer experiences, I have worked in healthcare and research settings that strengthened my interest in improving access to care for underserved communities. Working in the emergency room during college especially exposed me to healthcare disparities and deepened my interest in healthcare inequality.
I have also explored different medical specialties through clinical experiences and outreach initiatives, including involvement with Brown Internal Medicine, which further strengthened my interest in collaborative medicine and community engagement. Outside of medicine, I also enjoy mentorship and initiatives focused on supporting vulnerable populations.
I will be working at Columbia univeresity and NewYork-Presbyterian in a cardiothoracic surgery lab, where I will continue to gain clinical and research experience while learning from physicians and healthcare teams across different specialties.
I’m excited to contribute to Bright Mind’s mission of supporting individuals experiencing homelessness with empathy and compassion.
