When you’re performing street outreach, we strongly suggest carrying an ID (such as a driver’s license or school ID) and a printout of Street Care info and emergency contact info. Plus, have the app or website on a charged cell phone.

Also, there is a slight chance you will come into contact with a police officer. They are very unlikely to say anything to you, but if they have any questions, we suggest offering them this information. Of course, you are not doing anything wrong, but this can make things easier. And carry water and food for yourself!
