Wellness Classes At Bright Mind

Lessons are taught in English. Language options
may be available upon request.

Programs are offered for free or by donation.

Bright Mind wellness programs are led by our group of instructors
who offer well-being and creative programs. We offer wellness
classes that support movement, breathing, balance, nutrition, and
everyday well-being for adults of different ages, abilities, and
experience levels. Classes are available as open sessions, small
groups, or customized one-on-one offerings.

Sessions are guided and adaptable, allowing for steadier or more
active participation as needed. Classes are not cumulative, and new
participants may join at any time.

Our offerings focus on:

    • Purposeful movement that activates and supports the body
    • Breathing practices that promote energy, steadiness, and regulation
    • Mindful awareness to improve focus, balance, and overall well-being
    • Nutrition awareness that supports daily energy and long-term health
    • Outdoor activities that encourage connection, movement, and renewal
    • Holistic wellness practices that support physical, mental, and emotional balance.

Paula Casanova
Executive Director, Bright Mind Wellness; Bright Mind Director of Mindful Education

Bright Mind wellness programs are led by a group of instructors who offer well-being and creative programs. Paula Casanova is one of the instructors, with a focus on Tibetan Yoga.

Roopa Sridhar
Lead Health & Nutrition Instructor

Roopa Sridhar is a wellness educator and community leader integrating health, nutrition, mindfulness, and cultural education to support youth development, and compassionate community engagement.

 

Martin Brooks
Lead Nature & Outdoor Education Instructor

As a veteran and community leader, Martin blends nature, mindfulness, and mentoring to support youth, veterans, and underserved communities, fostering resilience and compassionate leadership.

 

Sridhar Shanmugam
Lead Dance Instructor

Sridhar is a global artist integrating performing and martial arts into community wellness, education, and outreach, using movement and culture for healing and empowerment.
